I don't see why you'd think baseball caps are inherently uncomfortable though, they're fine - I usually forget I'm wearing one on the odd occasion I do.

They're not uncomfortable at all. I wear a hat when it's sunny out so I don't burn my head and so I don't get sunstroke. A cap has the added benefit of keeping the Sun out of my eyes.
