I thought meh every time I heard the previous stuff but found they were massive "growers". I didn't like Demon Days at first, it's now easily one of my favourite albums and one of the few (nowadays) that I listen to from start to finish.

On the flipside, the new Streets album is brilliantly shit.

How old is Noodle supposed to be? Do they age in real time or is she still 11?

I am concerned if the latter is true. Think of the children.

Sounds pretty good to me

It's not sounding awful to me, but as a Blur enthusiast any crumbs from the table generally please me.

I heard a bit of the Mark E. Smith track on the radio, that was good.

I like it. Definitely hasn't got the instant appeal of Demon Days, it's a slow burner. A few too many features perhaps, but most of them are implemented in interesting ways.
