Given the prevalence of zombie threads on /b/ i'm guessing a lot of you would be into this if you are not already. The basic premise is that instead of only covering the beginning of a zombie outbreak, the writer Robert Kirkman plans on following this group of characters as they spend months and years surviving (or not) in a zombie infested world. Just from reading the first few issues It's difficult to get an idea of how brilliantly the story develops later on, but you've got to begin at the beginning. |

I really need to get myself up to date on this. I got to issue 33, but then missed a few due to stocking problems and never got back to it. It is a very good book, though it does fall foul of the "Man is the real monster" trap a few times. |

I got up to about somewhere where they'd just run away from the gladiatoresque place, any guesses what issues that would be? I want to start reading them again |

Thanks for all these, I'll go through my paper copies again before going through the digital ones. I believe there was some distribution problems with issue 33, which was why I stopped there. I just don't like buying trades of stuff I already have the issues of. |

If you have a PSP, then you can load up a CBR reader for that as well. The only downside is it is a bit on the slow side, but good for reading comics on the go. |

The Walking Dead 063 f-cover.jpg The Walking Dead continues to rumble on, up to issue 63 now. I've just spotted that there was an interview with Charlie Adlard (the artist since issue 7) a couple of weeks ago in the Guardian: http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/books/article6617758.ece |

I stuck with The Walking Dead up til about issue 43 but got bored as it didn't seem to be going anywhere and waiting to find out what happened to make all the zombies got boring. Should I carry on where I left off? |
