I genuinely hope Natal is a failure, because frankly Microsoft and Sony don't deserve to make a success out of Nintendo's experiments.

> nintendos experiments

Except that the Wii controller was based off the research put into the PS3 controller. Sony just believed that gamers wouldn't want to mess about like kids. Nintendo sold it not as a console but as an entertainment machine.

Sony fucked up big time.

Even if I wanted to leap around like a burning monkey every time I played a game I don't think I have a large empty room to spare for just a console. I can't say this is looking any more attractive to me than Nintendo's effort.

Truth. There's no way I can look at that part as anything other than paedo fantasy fodder. Creepy. Maybe it is a grooming simulator. There's probably a market for it.

That's the console trend these days though isn't it? Release a compact version/matte black version midway through the production cycle? Sony do it, Nintendo do it. I for one welcome the slightly smaller form factor, I still haven't bought one and it'll fit snugly next to my freeview box.

Pfft. I managed with an original Gameboy when I were a little lad. It helped improve my finger reach and dexterity, if anything. No pain no gain, they don't know they're born etc etc.

I was probably closer to ten or eleven before I got my hands on one. You're right though, they weren't too ergonomic for kids - but the subsequent 'Pocket' I got was much more suitable. Any smaller and I'd have lost it.

At least natal isnt WAGGALAN A BIG DILDO

The new 360 is very nice. It's hopefully going to be all the original was. I also think M$ have been very clever to not release the proper new version of their console until now, after the ps3 slim. The wii is to meteorically popular I doubt they'll even think of redesigning.

Why would the redesign the Wii? The only thing they could really do different is cash in on the trendy market and do what Microsoft did with exchangable covers.

What about when we crawl out of bed, want to wind down or want to relax on a lazy day?

NO GO. START JUMPING AND RUNNING.

It's like someone took all the good things about console gaming - the ease of use, compactness of the unit, ability to game on a sofa - and shat on them.

Almost immediately, you can feel the difference between the PlayStation Move and the Nintendo Wii Motion Plus. When waving the Move controller around to move the cursor, there is less of a "laggy" feeling. The cursor keeps up with your movements much more quickly than the Wii's controller. The controller was also designed with ergonomics in mind. The PlayStation Move controller is much easier to hold, it seems almost perfectly molded to your hand (or at least my adult hand, I'm curious if a child would feel the same way). For all intents and purposes, the PlayStation Move controller can be summed up as a more accurate, lighter, curvier Wii Motion Plus controller.

Bastard bastard bastarding bastard bastards. Me and my Wii are going to look like a right joke when this gets successful with all its fantastic games. Fuck's sake Nintendo, you're supposed to be good at R&D.

Don't worry, ninty know what they're doing. Which is why they made the Wiimote controller the main controller for the system, rather than bundling it with the classic and releasing the wiimote halfway into the systems cycle. Hark my words- Move and Kinect will only split their respective console's market, forcing devs to pick one or the other. It is for that reason the controllers will fail.
That and the price. $199 for Kinect, and just under $100 for Move, according to market predictions.
