I'm quite a fan of metros really; a friend of mine has one that started out as a 1.4, it then had a 1.6 k series put in it, with a few things done, probably around 140hp and with the car stripped out, was mentally quick.
But then, it was decided it needed to go quicker, so a 1.8vvc out of a rover 200 was put into it.. I think they're around 180hp, in a 600kg car too, pretty mental.

That's a bit odd of a design compared to most, what with it being Front wheel drive, I don't like the idea of a frontwheel drive motorcycle, one reason would be the tyre wear but another would be the very weird handling characteristics i presume it would have.

Next was a W reg 1.5L Nissan Almera SE also in Red. I traded in the Arosa for it and was content with it for about 6 months.

Next is my current car which I traded the Almera in for: a T reg Toyota Celica 1.8L SR in metallic Silver. I love this car and can't see myself getting anything else for a very very long time.

Sort of like this OP? They're mopeds from wayback when and as 1072 said still in common use in France aswell as Sweden and other European countries, the good thing over there is, you can ride them from the age of 14 without any sort of license. (although ones designed for 14year olds typically have a top speed of about 14mph) and in France, to my knowledge you can ride a 31mph 50cc moped from the age of 15/16 with no license. ofcourse, helmets are required..

And way back, alot of motorcycles were just bicycle frames with engines attached essentially.
