17369 Brexit: Theresa May's deal is voted down in historic Commons defeat
https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-46885828

Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit deal has been rejected by 230 votes - the largest defeat for a sitting government in history.

MPs voted by 432 votes to 202 to reject the deal, which sets out the terms of Britain's exit from the EU on 29 March.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has now tabled a vote of no confidence in the government, which could trigger a general election.

Mrs May said she would make time for a debate on the motion on Wednesday.

I'm really not in the mood for a general election right now.

Why don't you make a thread on all the other boards about it too?

At least it wasn't a DM link.

What is it about the nature of this site that gave you the idea that we needed two threads on the same thing? Were you afraid the other thread would be bumped off the last page in the next couple of days? Do you think one of the three of us only posts in one board and not the other because we find it so difficult to keep up? Sort yourself out.

We have three threads discussing it.

I think we ought to have a new thread in order to discuss the whereabouts of all current, past and future Brexit threads and what to do with them. All those in favour say "aye"'.

So a fourth seemed appropriate?

How do you get four? We have two on /pol/ and this one on /news/. If you add one and two together you get three, not four.

Okay.

So a third seemed appropriate?

The eyes to the right, two.
The nose to the left, one.

Sounds like we need to get this one to max-fax pretty sharpish.

I never said the additional threads were appropriate.
