19454 Peter Bright is a kiddy fiddler
Also known as DrPizza, which will soon get the QAnon lot frothing at the gash.

>Asked whether her daughter was a virgin, the agent wrote, “She has had the tip inside but not the whole cock … Does that excite you lol?”

That's slightly disturbing. I know they've got a job to do catching paedos, but I didn't think they would get into it like that.

Did the article really need all that explicit detail?

I found the content/article somewhat disturbing too; but in this case I think it's necessary.

Sounds like both he and the agent need to be locked up.

That's the least appropriate use of "lol?" I've ever come across, if you'll pardon the expression.

Who's Peter Bright anyway? I don't really feel like reading an article full of explicite child abuse chit chat, not on a Sunday afternoon at least.

He's a reasonably well-known technology journalist, often writing on matters related to Microsoft - writes (wrote!) primarily for ArsTechnica.

If he's a tech journalist, then he should have been aware that it was quite likely he would get caught by an agent posing as a fellow child abuser online. It's not like it isn't common knowledge that that kind of thing exists.

He'll have plenty of time to think about that where he is going.

I'd actually agree on that point. He has written about our friends Anonymous before, so I imagine he has spent time around sites like this and knows about using-seven-proxies. The indictment mentions that some of the chat was on WhatsApp too, which really shouldn't be considered secure.

It's always poor OPSEC that gets people. He waived his Miranda rights and confessed, so I don't think there is any doubt or argument that it wasn't him/his devices, either.

I think a lot of people just overestimate their own invulnerability, especially in their actual field of work. He probably thought the risk of getting caught was manageable because he's a "tech expert".

I guess it's a bit like race car drivers who don't think they will ever crash, or divers who take on too much risk because they think they're pros.

Or maybe most people don't get caught and he just got unlucky.

Well I hope there aren't that many people who actually pimp out their children to paedos for real.

In my hometown, there was actually a case where a married couple who were running a daycare for small children in their home went to prison for producing child porn off the kids they were entrusted with and distributing it via video cassette tapes. Kind of a long time ago. Don't think it actually happens that often for real. Kind of seems like a niche crime, but maybe I'm just too naively optimistic about the good in people.

I'm unlucky, but I don't want to abuse children so I don't think this'll happen to me.

We all assume this, and then it turns out that there was an entire villiage somewhere that they use children's arses for barter exchange, and it seems incredible that that was happening.

>Pitcairn's 47 inhabitants, almost all of whom are interrelated

Looks like everybody has been bonking everybody anyhow.

Kind of sounds like the rural Kentucky of the Pacific.
