Gentlemen, I am no connoisseur of chocolate.

But for 27p this is pretty nice stuff.

I think I'd rather chew on the 27p. Tingly long-lasting flavour. Still, takes all sorts.

Seconded, I often buy this. Cheaper than a single Mars bar and very nice. Although I generally buy the milk chocolate one because when I first found out about the white chocolate one I ate loads of it and now I don't like it so much.

There is merit in this argument, but I shall continue to call it white chocolate and buy packages of white chocolate anyway.

I liked a wide range of chocolate types and styles. What's the favourites here (outside of the usual supermarket fare)? Anyone a high cocoa % addict?

I used to be mad about Cadbury Bournville dark chocolate, if that counts.
Oh and I ate a mouthful of cocoa when I was cooking one time, big mistake.

Green & Blacks Butterscotch is wonderful, but love European chocolate. Marabou and Milka to name a few wonderful examples.

white chocolate is in fact chocolate if it is made with cocoa butter.

I used to go mad for the Lindt 80% and 90% varieties. Nice in and of them selves but heavenly if you make hot chocolate with them.

Gone off them recently, though. Not sure why.

I am for sure, I find only the really high percentages to that velvetty melting thing in your mouth.

If you like Marabou then you will also like Freia Melkesjokolade.
Marabou was initially a Swedish subsidiary of Freia's.
They're both very high quality milk chocolates.

Remember those things that you used to love, but don't buy anymore because of some bullshit reason that you can't even remember.

I remember those things, too.
