im not too sure, i will find out next time. last time him and his friend made some they made 99 from 3 huge turkeys

A bakery in my hometown used to make glorious Scotch Pies, with mashed potato and some beans on top. I've never seen anywhere else do them like that, they were perfect.

If you're ever in Lancashire you need to find yourself a butter pie. It's a heart attack in a silver tray but so delicious http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butter_pie

PROTIP: if making a pie then cans of condensed soup only watered down a little help make a good 'gravy' for in your pie e.g. chunks of chicken and veg and a can of condensed mushroom soup with a little milk or cream added = NOMNOMNOMNOM

Oh yeah, and my favourite pastry contained savoury dish is the mighty pasty - beef, onion, swede, potato, salt & lots of pepper, a small knob of butter.

In fact I may make pasties again this weekend.
