This is our Eurovision contestant. You may know him by his hit "Gitar".

I wish they'd reinstate the rule that the song has to be in the native language of the country it comes from. I imagine this song being better (but still crap of course) in Russian. The lyrics are crap and you can clearly hear his Russian accent.

That's as it's intended to be. Singing a ballad-like song with an accent gives an impression. If he sang it with a perfect American accent that would ruin the idea.

>>8030 My translation of the intro text before the song:

>Peter Nalich's music band is No. 13. Fame has come to Peter thanks to the Internet. Good music is always making his life better. Peter wanted to be a paleontologist, but instead of dinosaurs he started to study musical art of all people and of all times. The most frightening thing for Peter is stupid questions. His motto is: "To live your life is not as simple as to cross a field".

>>8033 You don't understand, It's a part of his style. The worse his grammar and more accent it has, the better the song becomes. This is his first video:

Oh shit, This was mine and an Estonians drunken theme song a few months ago. Good times.
Definately prefer it to that Eurovision entry, also not keen on his cleaner look... Bit dissappointed really, my fantasy image of Peter Nalich (which I can't quite explain) has been shattered.

This is much, much, much better. Are you sure that he wasn't abducted and brainwashed by aliens?

Speaking of music. You don't happen to know some good Balkan Beat artists?

>>8039 You simply don't understand anything about Russian sweet sadness. This song perfectly fits the thing.
>>8041 I don't know, maybe he just has a depression?

Among the Balkaneers I know only Goran Bregovich that wrote most of the songs you hear in Kusturica movies. But you must be know him already.
