What's the best drug for numbing myself to the boredom, frustration, and awkwardness of office life?

If you foster a prescription opiod problem, you'll eventually become resistant to the sedating side-effect and it'll just numb you emotionally. It require external motivation to be industrious at that point, but that is what managers are for.

Too expensive, OP. Just buy a few bags of brown and start poking around with a needle in the office bogs. Once you get a real drug habit or two going office life will never seem boring again as you have to keep finding excuses for nodding off at your desk or taking three hour shits, or spontaneous nosebleeds. It's like the best of times, and the worst of times.

I did this for a while I ended up just being drunk constantly, I'd strongly advise against.

It is better to set yourself little goals and rewards no matter stupid it may seem, but things like, when I complete task x I'll buy myself an ice cream, or after work I'll do Y! can really help you through the day.

Weed is typically the go to for this sort of thing. You could get some THC vape juice from certain encrypted marketplaces and you'd not even smell.

Is there any drug that will induce blackouts while retaining full mental faculties? Just imagine popping one before a full day at work then finding yourself back home immediately, with maybe some notes on things you'd need to remember.

That's not a bad description of working a shift on cocaine. I have no memory of the last December I worked in a kitchen.

Any drug that makes you concentrate on minutiae will make time go faster; anyone who's played the Civ games (Civ II particularly, for me) will know the feeling of losing six hours in what felt like minutes. Basically they call it speed for a reason, days, weeks, and months pass in fucking minutes. Speed, meth, coke, moda, they'll all make the day fly.

Benzos won't make the day fly but if you take a decent enough dose you won't remember anything anyway so it works out about the same. That said; don't do benzos kids. They're bad, mmmm'kay.

I should give that a whirl sometime. I only work in a fast food 'kitchen' but fucking hell does the endless tedium get to me.

And I can spend so many hours in an instant doing challenging or engaging work, or gaming. I can't wait to quit.

You have my sympathy. Even proper restaurant work gets a bit samey, but I can't imagine the assembly line nature of a more fast food setup. Though when I was a potwash that was really fucking repetitive but I did find it quite relaxing, almost mediative. Mind you I was alone in a basement and could listen to my own music so maybe that doesn't count.
