There are four of these. They're taken from a wider comic universe about "The Authority" but while they're a good read, you don't really need to know about them to enjoy Kev. Just be aware that this takes place in a universe where a slightly satirical team of super-heroes operate.

What a pretentious artsy piece of shit that explores the problem of communication and adaptation to a new socio-cultural environment by the means of language boundaries transgression and radical writer-reader-character bond paradigm shift with imposing surreal outward perception of the real world upon the reader. Absolute rubbish.

Quite, terrible isn't it? The little animal reminds me of a children's book about a toilet that came to life.

This scan is horribly grainy, I have an original copy and the images are much clearer. I'll delete and repost if I happen upon a better scan.

I think the important settings are
britfa.gs/brian/post
and 12chan style. Use com rather than /com/ and that should be it. I'll check later if that doesn't work for you.

Don't forget to check the files are in the right order, particularly if you're posting from a directory with multiple issues in as differences in nomenclature mean one issue might have
Comic_issue_1_page1.jpg but another has Comic_issue2_page1.jpg or other differences of that nature so it posts issue 2 before issue 1 and that sort of thing.

I can't remember if there's the option to put a password in the password field but if there isn't you won't be able to delete mistakes yourself and will have to bother the mods.

Looking at the wiki, a film of We3 is in development hell so that might appear at some point.
Both of these two threads >>4374 >>4627 are Grant Morrison's. I could post either or both of The Filth and The Invisibles although they're very long. Do those interest anyone? I'm not all that keen on his other works, I'm not sure what else I have to hand.

If anyone's curious why the Chinese "god" is Cthulhu, my theory is that as Lovecraft was trying to create a non-supernatural, pantheon of alien super-science gods in his writing (at least in his later works, he even retconned a lot of his earlier stuff with that in mind) and China is an atheist state, that seems to make sense as an explanation. Not a perfect explanation, but if anyone has a better one I'd love to hear it.

And the Lovecraftian pantheon are newly invented Gods, maybe symbolic of the way Communist China tried to abolish religion and China's old superstitions.

Cthulhu's basically a anthropomorphic squid as well, and them asians love their squids.
