18324 WarGame: AirLand Battle
Just wondering if anyone on .gs was a WarGamer. Not that anyone who actually plays WarGame calls themselves that, that would be pathetic.

For those who don't know, WarGame AirLand battle is a WW3 simulator in which you control either the Warsaw Pact or NATO forces as they slug it out over the eternally tense and excitingly war torn region known as "Scandinavia". A largely fictional realm based on the ancient land of Hyperborea.

Players can deploy forces from the USA, UK, Canada, West Germany, France, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, USSR, East Germany, Poland and Czechoslovakia, with several Asian nations being added in an upcoming sequel.

Not sure if you're taking the piss. If you are you're doing an odd job of it.

Indeed I was. I've just always thought Scandinavia was a bit of a weak sauce choice for a sequel, but there's not much to mock the region for other than its semi-mythologised status. So there's basically nothing.
