>IT TENDS TO RECOMMEND ALT-RIGHT AND CONSPIRACY STUFF
I really don't see this, I'm subscribed to hundreds of youtube channels, of the political ones I have a few lefty, mostly center and centre right.
But I am subscribed to Millennial Woes, Mark Collett and American Renaissance, who are frequently described as "alt right". In the case of Woes and Collett they even embrace the label. I am also subscribed to Fully Sourced, EdgyDtv and Truthstream Media which almost certainly meet the criteria for "conspiracy" content.
I watch a couple of hours of political content every day while commuting to work and surely with these channels in my subscription feed, I should get at least *SOME* "alt right" or "conspiracy" recommendations.
But no, literally every recommended video is either Joe Rogan, late night US chat shows or clips from mainstream news sources.
I don't even click the recommendations except maybe 2 Joe Rogan clips, ever. Yet they keep trying to make me watch James Corden, GQ and 60 Minutes Australia.
I'm not saying you are lying, but I have yet to see any evidence of youtube pushing anything other than "safe" mainstream content, that your average billion dollar multinational would want to stick their ads on.
