14332 Vicar of Dibley actress Emma Chambers dies aged 53
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-43183354

>Chambers died from natural causes on Wednesday evening and would be "greatly missed", her agent John Grant said.

Natural causes? That doesn't seem likely. I always liked her in Dibley, shame to see someone go that young.

Natural causes simply means it isn't murder, suicide or drugs. Dying of cancer in your thirties is dying of natural causes.

I thought that was dying of cancer. I always assumed, apparently incorrectly, that dying of natural causes was illnesses related to old age, like dementia, or just dying in your sleep.

Yeah 53 is a young age to go. Presumably its a heart issue.

It simply means your insides have gone all wrong, rather than there being an external factor at play.

I tend to assume 'natural causes' means the doctors have no idea what they died of. Because if it was cancer, or a heart attack, or organ failure, what reason would they have not to specify it? Is it something supposedly embarassing and they won't say in order to protect her dignity?

I often imagine what the headline would have been if "One Man One Jar" guy had died, it would have been savage for his kids if it came out.

Sad news.

I have just read that Trevor Baylis (Inventor of the wind up radio) and John Perry Barlow (co-founder of EFF, writer of https://www.eff.org/cyberspace-independence) have died.
