>A passenger says she was left "shaking and upset" when she was told to cover up on a flight.

>Emily O'Connor said cabin crew told her what she was wearing - a crop top and high-waisted trousers - was "inappropriate" and "caused offence".

>She said the manager of the Birmingham to Tenerife flight and staff surrounded her, saying she must put a jacket on.

Phwoar!

Also I'd like to know gs's resident I'll-shag-anything-lad on this.

Can't really see her face properly there but obviously I'd let her sit on my face.

As for her outfit, it hardly seems outlandish at all. I assume it's a case of employees taking their airline policies too far.

My girlfriend's certainly worn similar gear on a flight before (I see loads of women wearing stuff like this) and BA didn't seem to give a shit.

Why do they always have to milk it in stuff like this. Why do they always emphasise how they were left shaking and why does that very word make me less inclined to sympathise with them? I mean, I get that they were upset, but trying to make it sound like they went into shock is just disingenuous, and cheapens the genuine shock people feel when they've been, say, mugged.

I once got punched and narrowly avoided a fight with what I can only assume was a pissed up spicehead at the local tesco express, and I was a bit unsteady when I got back in the car. You didn't hear me trying to milk extra sympathy about how it was so traumatic that I was literally shaking.

It's different. That's just one random yob. When you feel the full combo of injustice, powerlessness and their incompetency that comes with trying to resolve an issue with a large organisation with rule-following goblins that you can't reason with as a human being it can be highly stressful.

To be fair, it looks like she's wearing some sort of bra rather than an actual top.

I mean, sure, but they asked her to put a jacket on for fuck's sake. I remember being taken aside from the customs line and grilled by a TSA officer in the US when I only had about 20 minutes to make my connecting flight, that was pretty harrowing.

But I'm not trying to say it wasn't a nasty experience for her, anyway. I'm more moaning about this specific thing about how it's always "I was shaking" like that's the secret codeword for everyone to be on your side.

If she was shaking she should have put her fucking jacket on then.

Planes are always cold in my experience.

Oh it looks much dodgier from that angle. I still don't think it's "put a top on love" level of dodgy, but I suppose I get it.

My advice is to just fly Ryanair. Half that plane is just bikini skets and topless blokes.

It's the naivety that boils my piss. When you're on a plane, you do what the flight attendant tells you or you get kicked off the flight. Those are your two options, so pick one and take responsibility for your choice. Act with an ounce of fucking dignity.

'That is not a crop top, it's a BRA!' This Morning viewers slam woman, 21, who was almost removed from a Thomas Cook flight for 'inappropriate' clothing - after she wears the SAME outfit on the show

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-6808283/Woman-21-removed-Thomas-Cook-flight-wearing-crop-hits-Morning.html

If you look close enough you can see her nip-nips.

Reminds me of those old people trousers that button up just below their man tits.

Something being the current trend for people to wear doesn't necessarily mean it looks good.

Fair, but you can surmise that the people who wear it probably think it looks good.

I think it's a pretty common trend. A lot of girls on campus dress like that. Lots of exposed midriffs.

It looks terrible and it definitely looks like she has forgotten to put her top on. I'm all for people wearing whatever they feel comfortable in, and she shouldn't have been kicked off the plane, but.

There is a mark in co-operative society where we respect others sensiblities. I would have no problem with a bloke only wearing a piece of cling film around his waist, or being stark bollocks naked with a full on erection. Getting your tits out is where society has chosen the line to be, and it is clear that even the pictures don't do justice to how revealing this top actually is. I might have a shit eatting grin when I see a girl like that*, but I could understand others feeling it was impossed upon them.

*If anything that might get her to put on a top.

>If you look close enough you can see her nip-nips.

You can't see her nips through it because there'll be material in the cups preventing exposure. High waisted trousers look good on some women because of their body shape. On lasses with no arse or hips it does make them look dumb though.

At least she's not wearing fishnets under a pair of rippped jeans with the waistband of the tights pull up to just under her tits.
