I'm sad enough to have watched this week's PMQs and it was indeed unsettling. This wasn't exclusive to Starmer though, everyone was being nice and completely uninteresting like I was watching a Lord's debate about some minor B road construction. The issue is that there's no public interest in soundbites at the moment and you don't mudsling during a national crisis.
