25111 Demo 2 launch
If the weather gods favour us, this will launch today at 9.33pm - carrying two humans to ISS.

If it launches and the weather is clear, we might also see them from the UK about 20 minutes in.

My fault lads, the moment I remembered I turned the live feed on and the first words were that it was being cancelled.

Your phone probably has a compass for future reference, failing that, use a map.

The Heavens Above app is really handy if you're into spotting satellites and spacecraft.

The International Space Stations passes over the UK at about 11pm this evening - will come from the SW and last about four minutes. Will be quite bright, and a good rehearsal for tomorrow night, when we might see them (and the DM-2 Dragon) tomorrow evening.

Demo 2 is fine and still scheduled for tomorrow I believe. The explosion was a prototype of another model that was test firing the engines.

This launch is going to deliver the next American astronauts to the ISS, and it's going to be fucking awesome.

Probably not. Too bright on the first pass at around 20:40, and it'll be very low on the horizon for the second pass at around 22:15. Look southwest from an elevated position in dark surroundings at the second pass for your best chance.

Sage because there's UFO's and Elon Musk doesn't do pan dimensional gravity/time manipulation engines.
