I'm gonna need some advice, here.
I think I've been knocked up by my middle-aged laplander neighbour - which obviously isn't great. However, I don't have the best of reasons to get an abortion funded by the NHS. So what can I do?

Okay some more constructive feedback then for your next story then. That isn't how the NHS works you don't have to fight with them like an insurance company to get funded. No one in Britain would talk about the NHS isn't funding the treatment, the NHS gives you the treatment they don't pay for it, the NHS are the hospital. You sound like an alien.

Except the NHS funds abortions in the UK and they don't just hand them out.

You don't need a reason to get an abortion on the NHS, try harder next time.

Sure but "my middle-aged laplander neighbour knocked me up" is a perfectly good reason.

So far as I can tell, you don't really. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/abortion/ conspicuously lacks any talk of eligibility while saying that
>The decision to have an abortion is yours alone.
My skimreading of the law is that officially the reason given will be that the doctor believes there is "a risk of injury to the physical or mental health of the pregnant woman" in continuing the pregnancy - but in practice it seems the NHS doesn't actually demand any proof, and it's not like a doctor needs to make a substantial mental leap to believe that there's a risk of injury that goes with giving birth. Doctors are also allowed to take account of social and financial circumstances, and do not even have to physically examine their patient in person before signing the relevant forms. ( https://www.bpas.org/get-involved/campaigns/briefings/abortion-law/ )

In practice the system seems relatively lax. The worst case scenario would seem to be that you get a doctor who doesn't want to refer for an abortion, in which case he's supposed to give you the number of a doctor who will. Alternatively, you can skip the GP entirely and self-refer to an abortion provider.
Of course, all of this deals with the law and not eligibility directly, but 98% of abortions in the UK are funded by the NHS under these circumstances, with 97.7% of those being on the grounds of "mental health" ( https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/808556/Abortion_Statistics__England_and_Wales_2018__1_.pdf page 10), which strongly hints at it just being the choice of least resistance for rubber-stamping the patient's wishes.

https://www.msichoices.org.uk/abortion-services/abortion-and-your-rights/ puts it pleasingly bluntly:
>In order to comply with the law, we’ll ask for your reasons for wanting an abortion. Your answers will not have any effect on the care you receive.
>Two doctors need to make sure the requirements of the Abortion Act are met, and sign the relevant certificate. We will arrange this for you.

I had to go with my ex to get an abortion. You don't need to qualify whatsoever, you just tell them you want rid and they set it up. Easy peasy.

I think some of the clinics are technically privatised franchise outsourced affairs, but technically so are most GPs so it's no real difference.

Been up since 6, you idle bastard. Tending to the animals and garden stuff, rather than shitposting on .gs, which is more a late night thing.
I'm not sure why OP chose to bless us with this steaming pile, though. Does the spammers' guide call us out as particularly likely to bite on an abortion topic? Should probably get that entry updated. Perhaps Corbyn (either one) approves / disapproves of aborting landlords?

This woman that you are implausibly claiming to be actually looks central Asian, like she might be from Kazakhstan or Uzbekistan. I guess there's a chance you might need to be from here to get an abortion here, but I don't know the rules. Since this is all a trolling invention, I guess it doesn't matter. Sage.

just got back in from putting up a load of 8 foot fenceposts in concrete. Ran out of ballast, got 1.5 holes still to fill. And that'll be the first of four sides done. I fucking hate fencing. But I love my new nailgun, that thing's death from above.
May as well derail this inepto-troll.

Is this from the same poster who makes the threads about being Asian and fucking white girls' pussies? Some sort of alt-right LARPer trying to stoke tension within the site's race relations.

Probably because they come from the other place and live on a diet of Daily Mail links that tell them Britain is under Sharia law, and expect us to get supremely triggered thinking about Big Ahmed pounding our precious white wimmin.

All it does is make me vaguely lament the fact I've never bagged a Polar lass myself. Well, I did have a mixed race bird once, but she was too pale to really tell if you didn't know her.

My second girlfriend was Indian. On reflection, she wasn't any different to any other lass I've ever been with, but at the time she was such a contrast to my first girlfriend who was boring and shit in bed, so during and for a while after our relationship I was convinced that forrun lasses specifically were the secret sauce, that they were all kinky, submissive sex fiends who were having some sort of revelation at the end of your white knob.

Turns out most women just like a good rodgering, regardless of the cultural background they may or may not have, and with the added benefit of not having to talk to all four of their grandparents and often extended family every time you go to their house.

except eastern european lasses and catholic irish lasses. fucking hell they're another level

Sir. It doesn't matter how many middle aged Asian gentlemen you say have "scrambled your bussy" I an not referring you for an abortion, because you are not pregnant.
