I watched him on a panel show once while I was thinking about how every panel-show comedian is the same, and every show is predictable (I do watch a lot of them) with all the same guests, and I noticed only then that Sean Lock's manner had far more variety, originality and universality than anyone else. He really was a great comedian. I don't know if I can call him underrated when he was on almost every panel show that exists, but I do worry that nobody else noticed how much better he was than almost anyone else on there. I am sad he's dead.

There's a really gimpy adorable woman who does it a lot that I like too, but I've forgotten her name. Again, her actual comedy skills are average panel-show-tier, but I think that's what we're getting anyway and at least this woman is a person I would willingly be friends with.

She was on Cats Does Countdown once and she was an absolute disaster. I have to admit I have not watched their show they've done together on Dave, but I don't think being a fulltime comedian is the right career choice for her.

Roisin Conaty would be a good woman replacement. Or Judi Love, woman and black.

Roisin tends to struggle when she's on Cats Does Countdown, but she's loads more fun than Scarlett, who could barely carry herself through an episode of I'm a Celeb: Extra Camp without a carer.

Scarlett Moffatt is lovably thick and useless, charming but maybe no good as an actual captain. Remember, she'll need to be doubly funny if the guest turns out to be a dud. I doubt she has the comedic leadership for it.

Roisin Conaty is overexposed, never off the TV, and I can't stand her. She's more likely to be a captain because nobody listens to me or cares what I think, but I'd prefer almost anyone to seeing her every week (although I see her almost every week anyway, on some programme or other).

I think Roisin said on the show once that she's been diagnosed as mildly deslyxic, which doesn't really single her out to be a good team captain on Cats Does Countdown, but she's shit at the letters games in a way that makes her fun to watch. In a more general way, she's really switched on. Scarlett Moffatt on the other hand is proper thick, or maybe not even thick, but small minded in a way that she probably doesn't even know a lot of nine-letter words to begin with.

Scarlett Moffatt is THICC.

I just had a YouTube video recommended to me called "comedian sean lock Last video" (sic) and it's almost like he knew he had a few days to live, and people would want to see a video with that title a week or so after filming it, so he recorded this as a sneaky way to promote a charity. What an absolute legend if that's what he did.

15 Storeys High is on iPlayer, presumably in tribute to its deceased creator. It's honestly pretty funny, but difficult to watch somehow. It's too avant-garde and strange for me. It's like a marginally more structured, and funnier, version of Chris Morris's Jam.
