What do you all think of Matt Berry's music, then?
I own Kill The Wolf in Vinyl I'm joking, it's a CD and according to much I've heard off-album I think this is probably the core of his sound. Many reused motifs across his better known catalog, but they're all delightfully pagan and poetic.

I think Berry could do well making a full concept album.

This particular track sounds similar to Alvvays (I have to be honest, Alvvays does the sound much better but there's still a place for Berry);

I'm a big fan of Alvvays, and you're right on the money with that comparison. I don't think Matt Berry is especially funny ("What if I say normal things, but in - gasp - an exaggerated voice?!?"), so now I'm in the paradoxical position of quite possibly thinking he's a better musician than comedian. However, music that sounds like "a worse Alvvays" gets bad very quickly; I don't fully understand why I like Alvvays so much when I hate almost identical bands who pop up in the background of corny teenage soaps and whenever main characters have a romantic montage in a sitcom. The song you posted is better than that music, definitely.
