It seems that certain albums are great for doing work to, just to help put you in the zone. You know like how certain classic songs are great to have on every now and then in the car.

I'm interested in what albums you lads would rate in this category. Mostly because I'm doing work at the moment but it might also tell you something about yourself as I find people express a preference towards the music they listened to as a youth.

I find the pre-2012 Metric albums to fit well into this area probably because I always have listened to them when I've been working but Macintosh Plus also works well as a kind of background music. It makes you wonder if there is a science to this.
