Mine is Lady Decade, she is more than just a pretty face, she possesses and conveys technical knowledge of retro video game systems.

I watch Turin and his Total Warhammer streams and Jimmy Broadbent and his crashing-while-I-try-to-ignore-his-constantly oversharing-chat streams. I think that's a proper use of hyphens or dashes or whatever, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I've tried watching a couple of other streams but they tend to be very boring, provide little-to-no colour commentary, jokes or much of anything really.

Streaming - PyrionFlax. He's mainly DOTA2, but is a fantastic eSports commentator - when you watch his professional streams you realise how amateur most esports coverage generally is.

YouTube - LordMandalore for in-depth reviews, AngoryTom for fun let's play style vids.

I never saw the point of watching other people play videogames. For reviews I watch WorthABuy and SsethTzeentach. They're about as disillusioned and embittered about the state of videogames as I am so their opinions are usually pretty halal.

A mate and I used to play Fallout or whatever was the big game at the time together, on singleplayer. Usually we'd just fuck around hanging out - I guess it's more of a social experience with a videogame backdrop than actually watching people play videogames. What's funny is that once we'd got bored of one anothers company, we'd start repeatedly killing the PC, usually by jumping from the highest point we could find - repeated reload jump deathscene; reload jump deathscene; for up to 30 minutes before we decided it was time to leave.. You probably had to be there.

I donno, I've bought a couple of games off of SsethTzeentach's reviews only to find them void of the energy he brings to the experience. When you're playing it yourself it's suddenly a lot less creative. Obvious really but it took me a few purchases to learn.

If I'm around during the day, I generally have dinosindgeil on in the background. Does Soulsbornekiroring challenge runs (all the games back to back without levelling without getting hit for example). His banter is alright. It's more that in my student house, we'd all sit in the living room and watch one of us playing Dark Souls II and chat, and I just find watching people play those sort of games kind of nostalgic and reassuring. Also good in a sense that you learn tricks or see secrets you never did in your own playthroughs.

Admittedly it can be a bit tedious, I find Elden Ring very boring to watch, but love watching Bloodborne.
