An FPS with movement mechanics that is quite forgiving in the movement department, and mostly easy in the FPS department.
It has a story, of sorts, but it's very much aware it's perfunctory to make manic speed shooty fun happen. If you like FPS at all you owe it to yourself to at least try the demo, which neatly is not just the first 30 minutes of the game but a nice slice through the experience of what the entire game offers.
No point talking about character, you are Person who is there to Kill The Others. Your tools are a large selection of guns, a grappling hook, a hover board and an acquired set of super powers. Your hover board can skate up sheer walls, you can grapple clouds, and of course you can multi-jump, which get reset anytime you grind of grapple. And some terrain can be removed. The game really does not want to get in the way of you having fun when it comes to those things.
Most of what you do apart from skating around like a maniac is doing "scans", i.e. Kill X enemies arenas, with occasional boss fights. Again, the game gives you tools to ram people with your hover board, a melee weapon to whack them while you're at it, and since there are no hit-scan weapons: as long as you move fast enough, you won't get hit.
