I've not used an android phone for a minute, but you used to be able to access the phones memory straight from the PC. Maybe you need to accept the connection first, and that's why you're struggling. |

Something called Scrcpy (https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/mirror-android-screen-pc-mac-without-root/) sounds like it's what you need, but you first need to enable USB debugging mode on the phone, which you presumably won't have done already. |
