>>71203 Normally, the hottest place in the country is like five degrees hotter than where I am, but right now, I've got 38 degrees outside. I think that's the most noteworthy thing this time. When the record of 38.7 from a couple of years ago was reached, it was only 32-33 here, but now everywhere is roughly the same temperature.
People laughed at me when I bought my MGF convertible and insisted on air conditioning, which was a very rare option back then. Let alone to be found on the used car market.
These temperatures are actually too hot to be driving around with the top down, because imagine being stuck in slow traffic in the blistering sun like that. Just putting the hood up is no option either unless you have AC, because you've got the sun beating down on a jet black mohair top with a very confined space underneath, and the F having a notoriously underpowered cabin blower, plus you have the heat from the engine which is right behind the seats under the rear deck.
I got the car for £2,500 a few years ago with minor repairs needed, which was an ambitious price at a time when they could be had for less than half that without AC, and I only agreed to it because of the AC. Money well spent.
Oh THINK about it you fucking idiot, raising the temperature is exactly what they want from us.
You've got to show them who's boss and stick them in the fridge and get those numbers down. Use the freezer if you have to, but there's no need to go from 60 - 0 celsius straight away.
