I went on the train through Lincolnshire yesterday. God it's boring.

Two days before a massive exam I was studying with a friend in our uni library and caught sight of the Humber bridge. Both me and my friend have been Hullensians our entire lives and have been driving for about two years, but neither of us - it turned out - had ever driven across the Humber bridge.
So, we got a solid hour of studying in and then off we went to cross the river at about 1am. We arrived in North Lincolnshire, took some photos of the other side of the bridge and went home. It was much less exciting than we thought it might be.

I live about a mile outside Lincolnshire just north of Newark but went to school/sixth form in Lincoln. Fortunately I rarely return to the shire now due to the incredible lack of anything of interest.

All I ever generally do is sit and drink beer with a friend by the Brayford in Lincoln, or get completely hammered sitting in the alcoves at the front of the cathedral; it's all the city is good for.
