>>2239 The Pavilion Tavern (Pav Tav) was right cheap and nice (in a studenty way) in Brighton. Otherwise Sam Smiths (if you like stout) or obviously Wetherspoons.
>>2240 >Pav Tav
Been there many a time before, nice place. Had my first (only) interaction with female funnybits after a night there actually. The student nights are good, yes. Where's Sam Smiths?
They do some pretty good lagers as well. The pure brewed lager is very good, but I still haven't forgiven them for canning classic man-in-a-box and replacing it with 2.8% kiddy drink masquerading as the real deal. I still have nightmares about the first time I went into the lyceum and asked for a pint of MIAB and was told it wasn't there anymore. I may have actually U WOT M8'd the poor girl behind the bar.
Everywhere, man. Which is a bit curious. I was reading a book about beer because I'm that sad, and in it the author talks about his initial ideas, one of which was investigating how a tiny, slightly mysterious brewery which no one really knows anything about has managed to acquire hundreds of pubs, but he decided it wasn't worth the risk of being whacked by Papa Sam.
>>2242 Their lagers are good BUT they've jacked up the prices so much recently they're comparable to regular pubs now (in London at least).
I FUCKING RUE THE DAY I STOPPED BEING ABLE TO SWAGGER INTO A SAM SMITHS IN SOHO AND PUT DOWN £2.20 AND RECEIVE A LOVELY PINT.
BASTARDS!
I came up on E for the first time in PavTav, while playing with the table football. Good place, nice vibes.
If upstairs is open it's good and they often play the music from vinyl. There is an old man who always dances on the stage, dance with him.
