My friend says Birmingham new street is one of the worst stations.

Only thing that comes to my mind is there are no seats.

Which stations do you hate and why?

Seven Sisters.

Everytime I go there my train seems to be delayed. Also, sometimes you have do some 100 yard walk to get on the platform. Not really sure why.

Birmingham New Street is one of the best stations in the country for it facilitates outward travel from bloody Birmingham.

I've not been to a great many train stations but Stockport's probably the worst I've been to. Ugly concrete thing with chavs hanging about looking for free fags.

Londonwise my most hated tube stations are:

Green Park for having a stupidly long walk if you want to switch lines and for being generally boring in design, like sterile, white hospital corridors.

Earl's Court for confusing the piss out of me the first couple of times I tried to use the District Line.

Monument for waking me walk outside to another station while they were doing building work.

Probably Aviemore to be honest, though not by much. Been to a fair few stations in the North and deep south, and I can't really think of anything I have against them.
Only reason I'm choosing Aviemore is because I had to wait an extra twenty minutes seeing my mates off because the train was so delayed and the board only displayed it as 2 minutes late, then switched off about five minutes after because...I don't know why. Maybe because Scotland doesn't do trains after 6pm.

I quite like trains.

They're renovating it now. It doesn't look anywhere near as bad.

Yes I know how much I'm bumping this.

Bristol Parkway can be nasty. It looks decent enough on approach, but anything more than gentle breeze and it becomes a fucking wind tunnel.

Even after the refurbishment, platform 1 at Newport is still pretty grim, not to mention separated from the rest of the station by the through lines.

Neath offends me for two reasons. First, its very existence and the lie of the route adds about 10 minutes to any journey through it. Second, the footbridges. The fucking footbridges. (Pic related.) It wouldn't be so bad if it were merely unfortunate station design, but there's a fucking gate right there and it's blocked off.

The best thing about this station is that you can leave the town through it. Unfortunately it's been renovated recently to look less depressing thus giving the impression that the town is less grim.

Even then the buses are almost as comfy and half the price so there's not really any good reason for this place to exist.

Best thing about Kirkgate is it's right next to the Snooty Fox, which is the best pub in Yorkshire, nay, all of England.
