I need to find somewhere to stay for a few months that's cheap and in Norwich. First time living somewhere other than home or uni acommodation. Anyone got advice for finding a place to live (e.g good websites to look on, shit areas to avoid etc)? Also any details on interesting places and things around Norwich would be gratefully received.

You should definitely stay clear of Norwich.

You should probably get that broken down into sub-categories before you get started, OP.

Top BANTER or genuine warning? I've only been once, it seemed very mixed between pleasant old parts of town and suburban housing and less pleasant council flats awash with INGERLAAAAND flags and depressing parts of the centre.

Then again I'm currently one of the resident 'bridge lads so I guess wherever I move is going to less pleasant than the surroundings I'm currently accustomed to.
