I think that was making ISPs give you the option of blocking websites that hosted adult content in general, not porn specifically, and not making the offending websites implement age verification.

I signed up to my ISP before those regulations so I don't know if you now have to specify that you want to allow adult content when you sign up to an ISP.

It really does seem like this would be easier to implemnent from the ISP end rather than individual sites having to do it. For about ten years I couldn't come here on my phone because I couldn't be arsed doing 02's age verification, so doing the same with Virgin and BT and Plusnet et al would presumably be the least disruptive way of doing it, if we must do it at all.

Any place where somebody gets paid a constant stream of small amounts invites money laundering.
