No. 101645Anonymous 16th April 2025 Wednesday 12:30 am101645Liz Truss to launch 'uncensored' social media network
i.e. propaganda network (well, more like Truss circlejerk). So ow long til lefties take advantage of their newfound free speech and post pics like this everywhere LOL. She can't complain, though she probably will. She's a hypocrite who claims censorship is really bad now but wanted to put Jimmy Carr away for a joke. A very nasty childish joke but a joke. Save this pic for later.
>>101652 A new social media website, catering specifically towards free speech and offensive anonymous content, could do very well in the wake of 4chan's probably temporary closure. If it does, then we'll be glad we have a thread for it. If it doesn't, then the thread will rapidly disappear just like that one where Kanye West was going to be the next president of America.
What I notice most about Are Liz is that she's proven unable to put a team together. You'd think with that unstoppable self belief, she'd be able to drag some competent but gullible people into her orbit, but I've seen no evidence.
She was a fucking dreadful constituency MP, and to my lasting regret a boundaries commission shift meant I couldn't vote the mad bint out.
>>101649 Fair point. It's just satisfying to have a childish dig at politicians, especially ones like her, from time to time and imagine annoying them by their own rules.
>>101653 I would say that being geared toward free speech is allowing offensive content, but being geared toward offensive content would be to promote it in some way directly, but I digress. It would be even worse than 4chan's /pol/ because there is at least a variety of differing political opinions on there, even if a large chunk of them are wadical wevolutionawy types with some frightening antisemitic tendencies from both ends of the political spectrum. Truss' site would be worse: the above, but a literal echochamber filled with the most hardcore and stupid fanboys, like Elon has *tried* to do with twitter, without any lefties or other critics to balance it out.
And, unsurprisingly, like twitter, would be very much about censorship and even cancel 'culture' that suits their needs, despite making noises to the contrary. That's the worst part. You can't trust right wing campaigners when they cry 'free speech' because they don't mean it. They often mean THEIR speech.
What else would you expect from the woman who wants to arrest a comedian for a Roma genocide joke while harking about free speech? And as the head of a party that quite frankly loathes Gypsies?
>>101689 Someone ought to tell Jimmy Carr that they liked his joke about gypsy genocide because it would mean murdering Irish-born property tax dodgers, and then ask him how it feels as his facial features rearrange themselves.
