5233 Big shoes for a big guy
For the men who are or were 300lbs, what is/was your shoe size? It seems like my feet are too wide for 13s so I just ordered some 14s. Hopefully, that'll be bearable.

Depending what kind of shoes you're after buying, they generally come in widths as well as lengths. I've got quite fat feet, so when I'm after dress shoes I often have to order into a shop to make sure that they're wide enough for my sturdy hooves.

I don't quite understand what you mean by this. I assumed you meant that you just enter a shop in-person and inspect what's on display but it sounds like there's an alternate interpretation here. Explain.

Plenty of specialised retailers do shoes in large sizes or in extra wide fits. Jacamo go up to size 16, with wide fittings in many styles.

I know with Clarks you can order shoes to be delivered to a store, without actually having to pay for them, to try them on.
