I need to replace mine. It looks as though hinged ones are cheaper, have more headroom and fewer points of weakness for breaking than ones which roll or flap open overhead. Am I wrong? Is there a good reason to get fancier ones? |

Segmented doors are a bit more expensive, but with one-piece canopy doors, because of the geometry when they open or close, you always have to make sure there's nothing in the way when you're opening or closing them. Normally it's not going to interfere with your car's boot or even the back of an estate car, but there also isn't much room for error. |
