Mold spray is good or better you want to spray some hydrogen peroxide on it.

If it's uPVC or gloss paint, it'll come off easily with ordinary detergent and a bit of elbow grease. Mould spray is only really necessary if there are stubborn stains on more porous surfaces - you might need it for the sealant, which can be tricky to clean.

That's bleach, right? I usually wipe down damp mould with neat bleach and it seems to do fine.

Bleach can be a few different chemical combinations, the bit that makes it bleach is releasing the chloride ions in solution.
