You need at least two prying tools, so you can lift the cap up rather than just tilting it over at an angle. Apply most of the force at the point nearest the vertical post, just using the other tool for support. If your bathroom is quite grimy, try soaking the cap in spray cleaner for about 20 minutes before trying to remove it - they can sometimes get stuck on with accumulated dirt or limescale. |
