What's the best way for someone with an education in the arts to tag along with scientists on field research?

Context would be helpful and interesting. Have you got some particular scientists in mind, or do you have to find some first? And I assume you'd have to pay your own way too.

Honestly? No. I'm just a postgraduate student interested in exploring other areas of academia and maybe seeing things I wouldn't normally get to see. I understand if I'd have to pay my way, but it strikes me as more meaningful if I'm contributing to research.

It would be glorious if volunteering were an option, but perhaps that's me being unrealistic.

It's difficult to do that even as a graduate as far as I'm aware, since such positions are highly sought after for experience and skills and such. I reckon your best bet would be to find some other way of tagging along and just getting more involved than a person in your position should be. Like an irritating secretary.

That's bad advice and a dumb idea, ignore this post. Polite sage.

My apologies, for some reason I read it that you had finished.

Become a millionaire and fund your own research.
