I'm wondering, what grade do I say for english, when for english lit I got A, but for english I got B.

I've been saying A up until this point but I don't think that's technically true...

If they're listed separately on your GCSE certificate they count as 2 GCSEs. You put them both down individually.

As >>5441 said though nobody really cares beyond a C. They just want to know that you can write in cursive and spell moderately well.

How so? I'm applying right now via UCAS and it literally asks for one English grade, which peaked my curiosity as to what my English Lit was all about. Seemingly it was just an extra GCSE that I had no idea about at the time.

You should have a drop down list with Lit and Lang being separate. If you don't try and find an option for other and put them both in separately.

Did you answer a question wrong earlier in the process or something?

How many GCSE English exam papers do you remember taking? Why don't you have your certificates or transcripts to check which courses you were awarded qualifications in?

It's asking you what you got in English. You got a B in English, so you put B. EngLit is a separate subject, and if you have a separate grade for "speaking and listening" nobody really cares what it is.

Clearly.

So you took the separate exams, got the separate grades, and then somehow thought 'I've got an A in English' for evermore.

You got an A in English Lit, a B in English and you don't know how to use capital letters?
