Hey guys im in the military at the moment army to be specific , i want to study electrical engineering and i am currently and electrician , problem is i dont have my highers yet and have 5 Gcse's any plans or recommendations for uni's in scotland thanks im also 22

You won't get into university with just GCSEs. Your military training will count towards an apprenticeship qualification, which may get you into university. When you leave the army, you will get help to find work or get civvy training. Ask an officer - they can put you in touch with the Military Education Centre, who can tell you about your options.

Electrician and Electrical Engineering are two related but otherwise separate things. Even the most distinguished Professor of EE would not be licensed as an Electrician (unless they specifically sought it out), for example. I'm with 6493 (when you sober up, dear good I hope you're drunk), ask someone who has a clue and see what you can do.

I studied at Robert Gordon Uni in Aberdeen, didn't do STEM, but knew lots of engineers there and got the impression it was a good place for it. That's hardly qualified advice, so my most significant piece of advice is that it's a very dreary city which you might want to keep in mind if you look into studying there. None of the engineers seemed to mind though.
