It's a (8-)bit shit considering I can go on the internet and watch thousands of people passionate about games play any type of video game with at least some level of proficiency. Or I can even play a video game with my mates myself instead. Didn't find the humour particularly entertaining either.

I would really enjoy some kind of Wipeout meets Beat The Crusher game format where I get ten minutes to beat the everloving smug-faced crap out of Dara Ó Briain. If I fail I get put in a giant car crusher and turned into spam for the amusement of the nation, maybe while another perennial smug pseudo-intelligent cunt like Stephen Fry sits by and makes wry comments about my existence while I'm mangled into a ball of crushed bone and gristle.

I've just been watching it and it's no where near as good as Gamesmaster, Dara's got nothing on Dominic Diamond.

I was also disappointed that they don't play actual 8-bit games, especially after weeks of seeing it advertised, kind of felt it built up to an anti-climax.

I've just seen the latest episode and to be fair they played a few 16-bit titles (Street Fighter 2 Turbo and Sensible Soccer), and they even played an 8-bit title (Track and Field), they even mentioned one of my favourites - Cannon Fodder. It was a much more enjoyable episode but still not as good as Gamesmaster.
