>>23398 You know, I've always shied away from initialisms when conversing in text, but recently I've come to see their purpose. They facilitate what would normally exist as non-verbal communication. They're used almost as a cohesive glue. When we talk we expect feedback from our listeners, to let us know that they're listening, are understanding and remain interested. It's easy to be a contrarian and pretend they're not useful or to devise functional alternatives, but personally, I'm going to join the normies.
