Wasn't sure whether this fitted better in /zoo/ or /map/ but it's here now and I nicked it from the other place's travel board so nyah-nyah.

Dunno why I've never been to Norfolk/Suffolk/Essex. Bit odd now I think about it.

I'm not that well travelled, and I also might have coloured in the wrong bits because I couldn't be arsed looking up if they are where I think they are. The US states in particular were a guess, but it's meant to be New York and Colorado.

I am hoping to get more use out of the passport I renewed last year. I only used my last one about 3 times. Waste of 90 quid. I want to go see Pompeii and maybe visit Rome, because that meme about how often men think about the Roman Empire hit home and I've watched a lot of youtube food videos about "authentic" Italian pizza.

Can't be arsed to colour code your map, but here's a list of countries I've visited. Some of them with my travel obsessed parents when I was a younglad, some of them on my own.

Austria
Belgium
Switzerland
France
Italy
Monaco
Spain
Greece
Germany
Netherlands
Liechtenstein
Luxemburg
Yugoslavia
Sweden
Denmark

Most of Europe, pretty much, as well as:

United States (visited about 20 U.S. states, mostly South, Midwest, Northeast and California)
Mexico
Cuba
Venezuela

Sri Lanka

And if you count layovers, I've also been to Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

I'm also too lazy to fill in the map and like the lad above me I travelled a lot as a kid and don't remember the exact locations we visited for most of those countries.

Wales
France
Belgium
Spain
Netherlands
Iceland
A few Mediterranean islands but besides Malta I can't remember which
USA (Florida, Louisiana)
South Africa
Barbados
Malaysia
Singapore
Australia
New Zealand (lots of times, family's from there)

I'd like to visit the Scandinavian countries someday, and maybe Japan, but having recently returned from NZ I need a long rest before I get back on a plane.

That's an interesting and unusually rare intersection of "home countries"

Because it's the same as mine

Can't say I really liked Sweden. Cold weather even in the midst of summer if you're unlucky and get a 12°C polar cold front. And expensive booze.

It would be more only I spent the majority of my 20s unemployed or as a broke student and like going to festivals it doesn't really happen if you don't have anyone to go with.

I'm convinced that there are better cities in Italy than Rome. Pizza romana gets a lot of praise for some reason but it's just crispy pizza.

I wouldn't say that. I've done some travelling on my own and I really enjoyed it and the memories I got from it. Just because you can't share those memories with anyone, doesn't mean it has to take away from the experience.

Wouldn't go to a festival on my own though. That seems kind of sad.

Much the same, can't be arsed. The OP map doesn't cover countries but areas. I appreciate the effort, but I won't make the same.

Austria
Belgium
France
Germany
Italy
United Kingdom
Switzerland
...
US
Kenya
Kongo
Zimbabwe
South Africa
...
Japan
Mauritius

Not going any of those places soon. Mauritius maybe.
