Hello, ReadingFags! Can someone point me to a cheap supermarket/discount not too far from the hospital/campus area? By the way, is there any takeaway that is reasonably cheap and does not serve cancer-inducing greasy, soggy chips?

Market is pretty cheap on the day. Asda isn't too far from campus, share a taxi with your m8s to bring home big shopping bags (or even try and get hold of a union minibus).

Dolphin fish and chips near the Earley road co op is pretty good, bit further away from campus though (about 15 mins from Mackinder).
