Lower Earley here. Despite the decent weather, this town is the most demoralising place I've ever been to. Theres no decent bars or clubs, pretentious student wankers everywhere, and fuck all to do. I can't wait to move out.

Coopers Arms is ok.. as is bob's.. But the latter is normally full of students till around 10pm..

Market is pretty cheap on the day. Asda isn't too far from campus, share a taxi with your m8s to bring home big shopping bags (or even try and get hold of a union minibus).

Dolphin fish and chips near the Earley road co op is pretty good, bit further away from campus though (about 15 mins from Mackinder).
