My second choice would be to hack the flesh off as our lad did, then use my angle grinder or cut off tool to cut the metal into manageable chunks. Well, for a start don't throw the entire doll into an open bin while still wearing knickers and a wig.

It's not rocket surgery but the steps I used were, roughly, to strip the TPE from the skeleton using a box cutter with a fresh blade (a sharp blade really helps, so I changed it as needed) and a set of solid kitchen scissors. It needs cutting into small-ish chunks anyway so I wasn't too careful about preserving the shape of anything. On the contrary, for instantly recognisable parts like hands, feet, face, and breasts I made sure to cut them into even smaller bits. The material doesn't look anything like flesh if there's no shape to fool your brain into thinking otherwise. I then bagged it into 10-20lbs portions to avoid breaking the bin bags or my back as I carried it to the bins.

The skeleton, once free of TPE, can fold in itself until it's small enough to fit in a wheely bin. This took some doing as the some joints like hips, back and neck are quite stiff. The end result looked a bit odd but unmistakeably mechanical, so there was no need to further disguise it.

It took me about an hour all told and I think that was time well worth investing to avoid scaring people.
