I once spent a week away from the site, whilst camping in Cornwall. No signal. It was hell tbh. It was one of the few times something bad happened and it went down for about 12 hours because a disk filled up. Nowadays maroon does all the good coding work and I love her for it. But I still visit at least 5 times a day (it's still the first thing I look at every morning and the last thing I look at night) but I probably argue with people for fun a lot, lot less. I used to be able to identify patterns of people and who was posting, but I can't nowadays, it's all got a lot more RANDUM.

I'd always assumed that mods and admins had the ability to identify people fairly easily anyway? Does that mean bans are given on a post by post basis? Have you locked yourself out of the system to prevent abuse, are you like Finch from Person of Interest?

It's the most recent distinct locations. I think if two of us geofag to the same place, it'll only appear once, and when you post your location gets bumped to the top of the list.

The flashing /*/ has all the colours of the mods except for red, lilac and magenta. Is there a reason for that?

Not really. Some inactive mods were included; the ones you name weren't.

Just freshed /*/ and the attached picture popped up. Using Firefox on Win OS with Flash removed. Has happened last 3 times in a row, including opening a new tab and heading there directly. Have obviously not saved nor opened it.

The page 9, 'Marked For Deletion' is that entirely automated or does a human make the final decision to actually delete it?

Also, can .gs madmins see who I am based on my gmail/facebook cookies? I realise it's too late for me now, but I suppose it's worth knowing if you haven't crossed your streams or had the two of you reversing the polarity yet.
