This passive-aggressive attention seeking bollocks. It's shite on a number of levels.

There's nothing good about Facebook but the access to teenage girls.

The person who posted the image in OP is really rather lovely in real life. Don't be so binary.

This phenomenon is called world narrowing, and it happens to everyone when they spend too much time on one specific thing.

I have it on good authority from a 15 year old that facebook is falling out of fashion even as we speak, so it should be dead in the next 10 years or so. Then we'll just have to ride it out while our grannies continue to post photos of cats on facebook and continually text us asking why we haven't poked her back.

Truth. If you want to stay in trend, get Instagram and Vine.

Pretty much. Facebook was more or less ousted by Kik and Twitter among the 12-15 demographic some good two or three years ago. As the old joke goes "A social media site is like any party, once the parents turn up it's time to go".

Instagram is obviously massive, but I think Vine will be a bit of a red herring.

Skype and Facetime are still in heavy use for video chats.

This has been a tweenager internet trends update brough to you by the Tweenager Internet Trends Council of Great Britain.

That doesn't mean that Zuckercunt isn't already well prepared for this. Facebook was only the start, the chap wants to be Google's contender.

G+ on the other hand...

That's because there is a great chance they are not your friends. No matter what that nursery language of 'friends', 'likes' etc implies. Acquaintances, maybe. Friends? That are those 2% or even less. YMMV.

Not him but it is/was a sort of Instagram for videos as opposed to photos. The videos are limited to a maximum length of six seconds. It was primarily used as a sort of video-sexting system until they banned pornographic content. It will now presumably wither into obscurity.

You can still be friends with individuals who display that nursery level of self-expression and herd compliance, you just selectively ignore those aspects when dealing with them and be glad it only happens on Facebook.

Vines are hilarious when stoned. The rest of the time they're pretty boring and way too short.

Quite so. And by the 'nursery language' I meant the one used for [FB] interface. You know, making things look like those they actually aren't. Entitling everybody a 'friend' in what is actually just a sort of a contact list. And so on.
