6217 Tobacco brands
Lads, do you know any decent tobacco brands? I'm bored of my own, pic related. (is there actually much of a difference between them or am I just being tricked by the tobacco companies?)
I'm a terrible roller as well, having just started a couple of months back, so I guess i'm looking for something that is easy to roll with. Any thoughts?

Any baccy is easy to roll with in one of these, other than that I can't help you other than tell you that my Grandad swears by Golden Virginia.

Ooh, I need one of them. Smoking straights is burning a very deep hole in my pockets.

My dad has always been very dismissive of the rolling tobaccos of the modern age. He used to smoke Nosegay, apparently he'd roll one before bed and says that waking up and smoking it was a powerful hit.

I prefer milder tobacco by a large margin. I smoke Golden Virginia, like >>6218's granddad and seemingly everyone else I know these days. The closest analogues to my dad's smokes of choice, when I was still interested in shopping around, as a teenager, were Old Holborn and Woodbines. I have no idea if either are still around, but if they are I have no interest in ever smoking them again.

I tried snuff tobacco a few times. I honestly cannot conceive how anyone could get addicted to that stuff. I have a tiny tin box of it in a drawer somewhere, and I will never get any enjoyment out of it.

American Spirit 'all natural' tobacco is pretty good. I find it considerably better than the usual standbys of Drum, Golden Virginia, Amber Leaf, Cutter's Choice, etc.

Amber Leaf Blonde here,

I am a stoner and therefore require a smooth tobacco to compliment my connoisseur buds and hash.

It's incredibly smelly though.

My personal favourite is Golden Virginia.

I used to smoke Golden Virginia as a lad but after switching and then switching back, I realised how much harsher it was.

I prefer Cutter's Choice these days, though see to be smoking mostly light versions of Drum (Gold/Blue) for my various /A/ purposes at present.

This is my favourite. It's very dry (stick a but of lettuce in the packet to fix this), but it has a great flavour. Smoking GV afterwards is like inhaling tarred rope.

The trick to rehydrating dry tobacco was citrus peel, I thought.

Cutter's choice is my fave, although I get Golden Virginia cheap. It's fucking mank, but an order of magnitude better than Drum, and again than Old Holbourn. (-born? Don't recall.)

In other news, I've taken to pre-rolling my fags (by hand). Look at this shit and know envy.

I don't like the way you crimp the ends. A rollie should be a perfect tube.

The one at the bottom also looks a little loose, like the filter might fall out. Another 2 points deducted at least.

Not him but it avoids getting tobacco crumbs all over the place. You wouldn't walk around with your flies undone would you?

If it falls out then you haven't packed it firmly enough. You tuck your cock in your pants, don't you?

I like to leave it a little loose to let the air in. I hate having to suck a fag like a McDonald's milkshake. Plus, if the baccy's too dense it keeps going out.

>>6898

I prefer them after they've dried out a bit. Burns better.
