6874 Semi-asphyxiation high
So I had hiccups, and was holding my breath and 'pushing down' on my diaphragm, basically the same as tensing for a shit but higher up, and I got a sudden headrush, hearing went muffled, fuzzy fingers, and I felt like I was in the middle of a great MDMA high for a few seconds. I had to fall backwards onto my chair because I didn't trust my muscles and couldn't stand up for about 30 seconds. I didn't need to gasp for breath, it just happened.

What the fuck? This has never happened before, and I've used this method to stop hiccups for years. I'd been doing it for a few minutes, holding it but then hiccuping and having to breathe in again, but in the midst of these like 10 seconds sessions, it only happened about 5 seconds into this particular tense. I'm assuming this + masturbation is why people go for autoerotic asphyxiation, and I figure it was similar lack of oxygen that caused this, but considering I managed to do it without a belt so...
A) Can I do it again?
B) How?
C) Is it dangerous in controlled conditions?

Not sure if this is the right board, but I figure between here and /b/, I might get some more detailed responses.

Starving your brain of oxygen is dangerous, yes.

You get found in a cupboard with your mottled face slowly turning green and your wife's tights around your neck.

I've heard this, but I have yet to see any proof. If there's nothing assisting your suffocation, once you fall unconscious don't you start breathing normally again? Or do important things shut down?

Reaction images are fine, in theory. The general rule of thumb is that if you aren't sure if it would be appropriate to post one, don't post one. You'll know when the time is right.

The best one I seen was during the whole Ryan Giggs super injunction fiasco where purps was deleting posts left and right and we were communicating theories through pictures.

I seem to remember saving off a tutorial image about "The Cheating Death Game" years ago and I don't remember just how you do it but I remember the last step was "make sure you have something soft to land on".

I couldn't find that image but found this. From what I recall, the first part sounds the same as the Cheating Death Game.

I didn't find it in an images folder because it wasn't an image. It's a text file I pasted from the other place in February 2009. Sorry for all caps.

>1. BEND DOWN ON YOUR FEET SO YOUR KNEES ARE TOUCHING YOUR CHEST

>2. TAKE 15-20 VERY DEEP BREATHS. WITHOUT LAUGHING OR TALKING

>3. THEN STAND UP AND PUT YOUR THUMB IN YOUR MOUTH, AND WITHOUT LETTING N E AIR OUT BLOW VERY HARD ON YOUR THUMB.. UNTIL YOU FAINT

>OH YE AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SOMETHING SOFT TO LAND ON

I heard this book tells you how to hyperventilate until you start hallucinating. He used it as a therapeutic tool after LSD was made illegal.
