Quite, not to mention the paradoxical effects at higher doses. Pseudoeph is also useless unless you just want to sit jittering in the corner all night. I know someone will suggest modafinil but I never got any real wakefulness from that alone. I used to drop 400mg caffeine / 200mg modafinil / 24mg ephedrine of a morning and fly like a fucking kite - but be beware that when it crashes you'll want to crawl under your desk and die.

Depending on where you are in the ME what you probably want are Captagon (fenethylline) tablets which are utterly rife in Saudi if you know the right people (although by the sound of things you're probably in one of the UAEs which allow us heathen bastards to drink). The downside is if you buy off the wrong person you'll get your head chopped off (or at least publicly flogged).
